A decade in the browser

I have spent a decade building for the web, most of it on products where performance and interface quality are the product: booking flows, healthcare platforms, marketplaces, tools clinicians use every day.

My focus is the part of the stack users can feel: interaction detail, render performance, and design systems that keep an interface coherent as teams grow. I work comfortably into the backend when a feature needs it, having shipped against Ruby on Rails, .NET and PHP.

Right now I am at Skroutz, building the consumer-to-consumer marketplace and contributing to the design system that keeps the product coherent across teams. Before that: experimentation infrastructure and booking-flow performance at Welcome Pickups, and B2B and B2C feature work at doctoranytime, including mentoring the junior engineers on the team.

Greece's largest online marketplace. Working in the C2C team on Skoop by Skroutz, where any user can list a product for sale and any user can buy it.

  • Building Skoop by Skroutz, the company's consumer-to-consumer marketplace, from the ground up.

  • Implemented A/B testing libraries and optimised the performance and cost of the third-party service, improving experimentation efficiency while cutting operational spend.

  • Led development of a B2B and B2C Q&A feature enabling user-generated content.
